Olivia Wilde appears to be the latest casualty of awkward and sometimes unseemly moments in Hollywood’s era of conscious uncoupling. Deadline has reported that during the Warner Brothers CinemaCon session at Caesars Palace’s, Olivia was briefly interrupted when an unidentified person approached from the front rows and slid a manila envelope across the front of the stage. 

Wilde opened the envelope and discovered legal papers from former partner Jason Sudeikis. Wilde began dating Sudeikis, who currently stars in Apple TVs Ted Lasso, in late 2011. They share two children, a son born in 2014 and a daughter in 2016, the pair ended their relationship in November 2020. Wilde began dating Harry Styles after meeting during the filming of Don’t Worry Darling.

 

Wilde is said to have retrieved the envelope and opened it but remained professional during the undoubtedly embarrassing moment.

Don’t Worry Darling is Wilde’s second feature length film as a director. Her first feature, Booksmart, received 61 nominations and 29 wins in various categories including an Independent Spirit Award win for Best First Feature.

The 38 year old actress is also in the upcoming Babylon (currently in post-production) by writer/director Damien Chazelle (Whiplash, La La Land). Wilde will be performing alongside some of Hollywood’s elite including; Tobey McGuire, Brad Pitt, Margot Robbie, and Lukas Hass. The cast also includes well-known actors; Jean Smart, Eric Roberts, Chloe Fineman, and Spike Jonze.
